Use a project template when your team repeats a similar delivery motion for multiple customers.
Before You Start
Confirm that:
- The client account exists.
- The project template is active and up to date.
- Required roles, phases, milestones, and task defaults are configured.
- You have permission to create projects.
Steps
- Open Project Templates.
- Select the template that matches the engagement.
- Review phases, milestones, task defaults, offsets, and durations.
- Start a new project from the template.
- Select the customer account.
- Set the project name, start date, owner, and visibility.
- Review generated phases, milestones, and tasks.
- Assign project team members or leave assignments for resource planning.
- Save the project.
After Creation
Review:
- Project health and status.
- Task due dates.
- Milestone dates.
- Resource assignments.
- Budget and billing settings.
- Client portal visibility.

Troubleshooting
If the template is not available:
- Check whether the template is active.
