Common Workflows
Review Customer Communication
- Open Mail.
- Search or filter for the customer, project, invoice, or contact.
- Open the thread.
- Review message history before responding or taking action.
Link Context to Work
Use related records to keep communication connected to delivery and billing context. This helps project managers, finance users, and account owners understand what has already been discussed.
Good Practices
- Keep subject lines clear.
- Link messages to the right customer or project when possible.
- Do not use Mail as the only source of approval for billing or project changes; use approval workflows when the record requires formal review.
