Use Copilot to search, summarize, draft, and confirm TDCFlow actions.
AI Copilot
AI Copilot helps users search, summarize, draft, and prepare actions across the TDCFlow.
Navigation
Open Copilot from the app shell. It can use the current page, current organization, current user, and accessible TDCFlow records as context.

Copilot can assist with:
- Project summaries.
- Customer briefs.
- Task creation drafts.
- Work prioritization.
- Invoice reminders.
- Approval triage.
- Time summaries.
- Resource suggestions.

Read-Only Answers
Copilot can answer questions using available context and tools.
Examples:
- "How many projects are active?"
- "Brief me on this customer."
- "What approvals are pending?"
- "How many hours did I log this month?"
Creation and Update Drafts
Copilot can draft structured actions from natural language. For example, it can turn "create a high priority task for frontend work in Support Subscription due tomorrow and assign the best React person" into a reviewable form with project, title, priority, due date, assignee, and description.
Draft fields should use the right input type where possible, such as project selects, user selects, invoice selects, contact selects, dates, and decision dropdowns.
Draft Proposals
When you ask Copilot to perform an action, it prepares a draft proposal first.
Examples:
- Create a task.
- Send an invoice reminder.
- Update project health.
- Draft a status update.
- Approve, return, reject, or reassign an approval request.
You must review and confirm the proposal before the action runs.
Summaries and Briefs
For questions like "brief me on this customer" or "summarize this project," Copilot should give a concise answer first, then sources or follow-up actions. It should not create an action proposal unless the request asks to create, update, send, approve, return, reject, or reassign something.
Why Confirmation Is Required
Confirmation helps prevent accidental changes to important TDCFlow records, especially for:
- Client communication.
- Billing.
- Approvals.
- Assignments.
- Project status changes.
Refinement Actions
Copilot can help improve user-written text by making it shorter, more detailed, clearer, or more customer-ready. Refinement actions are useful for task descriptions, project updates, invoice reminder drafts, and status notes.
Good Prompts
Use clear prompts with the important details:
- "Create a high priority task titled Design onboarding canvas in Support Subscription, assign the best person based on dnd-kit skills, due day after tomorrow."
- "Send invoice reminder for INV 0006."
- "Brief me about Medicaleshop."
- "Open the invoice for INV 0006."
- "Show hours by status for my time entries this month."
- "Approve this invoice approval."
Limits
Copilot should not:
- Invent missing data.
- Claim an action happened before confirmation.
- Expose API routes or technical details unless asked.
- Override permissions.
- Act on approved, rejected, or returned approval requests.
