Users and Roles
Admins can invite users, assign roles, manage permissions, configure teams, and maintain job roles or skills.
If a user cannot see a module or action, check:
- Organization membership.
- Assigned permission role.
- Feature/module availability.
- Record-level access.
Skills and Job Roles
Skills and job roles help with staffing, recommendations, and resource planning.
Keep skills updated so AI Copilot can make better staffing suggestions. Skill data is especially important when asking Copilot to recommend the best person for a task.
Module Settings
Module settings control behavior for areas such as time tracking, invoicing, expenses, resource management, assets, portal visibility, and credit notes.
Example:
- Credit module requests usually refer to Credit Notes.
- Configure this in Settings > Credit Notes.
Automations
Automations can run workflow actions when records change or match conditions.
Use automations carefully for billing, approval, and client-facing workflows.
Integrations and Portal
Use integrations to connect TDCFlow with external systems such as CRM, chat, and calendars. Use Portal Builder to decide what clients can see and do in the client portal.
Admin Safety
- Test billing, approval, and automation changes with a small scope first.
- Review permissions before enabling a module for a broader team.
- Keep skills and roles up to date so resource planning and Copilot suggestions stay accurate.
- Use audit logs to review important administrative changes.
AI Copilot Tips
Try asking:
- "Where do I enable credit notes?"
- "How do I manage roles?"
- "Where can I configure approval chains?"
- "What settings control invoice reminders?"
