Projects are the main place where client delivery work is planned, tracked, and reviewed.

Open Projects from the main sidebar, or go to /projects.
What a Project Contains
A project can include:
- Account/client.
- Status and health.
- Start and end dates.
- Phases and milestones.
- Tasks and dependencies.
- Project team members.
- Time entries.
- Expenses.
- Invoices.
- Conversations and files.
- Status updates.

| Project name | The delivery engagement or initiative name. |
| Account | The customer linked to the project. |
| Owner | The person accountable for delivery. |
| Status | The project lifecycle stage. |
| Health | Delivery condition, such as on track or at risk. |
| Start and end dates | Planned delivery window. |
| Progress | Completion or delivery progress. |
| Budget | Planned budget, cost, revenue, or margin context when enabled. |
Project Status and Health
Project status describes the lifecycle stage, such as active, on hold, completed, or cancelled.
Project health describes delivery condition, such as on track, at risk, or off track.
| Signal | Use it when |
|---|---|
| On track | Work is progressing as expected. |
| At risk | Scope, timeline, budget, staffing, or quality may be affected. |
| Off track | Intervention is needed. |
| On hold | Work is paused and should not be treated as active delivery. |
| Completed | Delivery is finished. |
Common Workflows
Create a Project
- Open Projects.
- Create a new project.
- Select the client account.
- Add project dates, owner, budget, and visibility settings.
- Add phases, milestones, and tasks.
- Assign team members.
Review a Project
Check:
- Project health.
- Open and overdue tasks.
- Upcoming milestones.
- Logged time.
- Budget or billing status.
- Risks and blockers.
- Recent status updates.
Update Project Health
Use health to communicate risk clearly:
- On track: work is progressing as expected.
- At risk: there are issues that may affect scope, timeline, budget, or quality.
- Off track: the project needs intervention.
Manage Project Team
- Open the project.
- Review assigned team members, roles, skills, and capacity.
- Add or remove members based on delivery need.
- Confirm assignments before creating tasks or allocating time.

Permissions
Project visibility and actions depend on your role. If you cannot see budgets, invoices, resources, or settings on a project, ask an administrator to review your permissions and enabled modules.
